Description

TIrz is a synthetic 39-amino acid peptide engineered as a
dual agonist at the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP)
and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptors. The sequence is based
on the native GIP peptide backbone and incorporates a C20 fatty
diacid moiety, which extends plasma half-life in published
pharmacokinetic studies.
